I'm Ova Here Now!

So it turns out I didn't have the flu - but I was sick for a couple of days. So in the end, it was better that we didn't fly out to Dublin. Props to Continetal Airlines for giving me a MINISCULE $30 cancellation fee. I don't know why the fee was so low and neither do they. But I'll take what I can get.

I've been editing all day. Great stuff. Today, I'm focusing on the year 2001. Each section of the Irish baseball story seems to have it's own little three-act structure. If this keeps up, this is gonna be one hell of a film. But that's still a long way off. I gotta stay focused.

Cormac Eklof - winningest pitcher in Irish history - will be coming to NY in late February. We're going to do two days of nonstop filming in Yonkers, NY. John FitzMaurice, proprietor of the aptly named Fitzy's Bar has allowed us to shoot in his place. Shooting with cameras, not guns. Cos that would be bad for business.

Tonight's editing music - Head Automatica's "Decadence," Rolling Stones "Exile on Main Street," Buckcherry "Lit Up," Aerosmith "Pandora's Box," Guns N' Roses "Oh My God." How very blues/rock.
